Rough Creations is a source of commentary and information on gemstone rough and cut gems, the geology of gem occurrences, whilst also showcasing faceted gemstones and jewellery for sale.

Rough Creations’ cut gems are hand faceted by a qualified G.A.A gemmologist and exploration geologist located in Hobart, Tasmania – Australia. Rough Creations’ jewellery is inspired by the natural beauty of those gems and is made fully in-house.

You will be hard-pressed to find any standard round brilliant cut gemstones at Rough Creations, we prefer to use unusual and custom cuts to help bring out the best in our rough, and to make our finished gems stand out from overseas commercial and native cut stones.
